Ishqbaaaz makers turn environment-friendly

The year 2016 has been marked as one of the most phenomenal year for Maharashtra as for the very first time the entire state celebrated a DRY Holi. The entire nation is in the water conservation spree. While everyone is contributing even the producers and the actors of Ishqbaaaz wanted to help in this noble cause.

Where makers of other shows are looking at ways to weave rains into their sequences, Ishqbaaaz makers have used rain-water in an innovative way. Ever since the monsoons have hit the city, the makers of the show came up with a creative and a productive idea to maintain the swimming pool in the Oberoi house. Instead of using fresh water, they decided to use rain water instead. Yes, you heard it right! To clean and refill the swimming pools of the show the makers have been getting the rain water collected and cleaned to fill the pools.

Talking about the same, Nakuul Mehta, who plays Shivaay Singh Oberoi in the show said, “I must say the makers are extremely productive. They did not want to waste water unnecessarily as we all know about the recent drought that hit Maharashtra. They thought it is very unethical if we keep wasting water in maintaining the pool as it takes around five water tankers just to refill and maintain the pool. We later came up with the idea of harvesting rain-water. When the cast and crew were told about the same, we all were extremely glad as be it in our own little way, at least we are protecting our environment.”

We must say the cast and crew of Ishqbaaaz are quite Environment-Friendly!
